Huang Yao-mian:a Hidden Excellent Poet

Huang Yao-mian is a famous art and literature theorist and an outstanding poet as well.With the poem genius and poet temperament,he experienced the process in his poem creation from nightingale to fighter to thinker,from singer for pure love to spokesman for the working people and to meditator pursuing free and independent.As soon as he stepped into the poetry world,he attracted great attention from the poets of Creation Society such as Wang Du-qing.Influenced greatly by the romanticism poetry,he was familiar with various poem styles and skills at all times and in all countries,especially good at combining poetry skill with political propaganda reasonably,which contributed to the development of New Poetry in the aspects of poem styles and skills.Due to his early poem creation's great influence on his literature theory,he could maintain the art's purity and put enough emphasis on human being and humanity in the period emphasizing ideology and public feeling while ignoring art and individual feeling.As a result,his poem creation has influenced the art and literature school's academic conception and scholarly pursuit methods in Beijing Normal University.Since the academic community has a negative attitude to him,it is realistically significant to acknowledge that he is an excellent poet.
