Diagnosis and treatment of ectopic opening of ureter

Purpose:To evaluate the diagnosis and treatment of ectopic opening of ureter.Methods:Twelve cases of ectopic opening of ureter were reviewed,Ultrasonogphy,IVU, Retrograde urography,Cystoscopy, MRU were used to make the preoperative diagnosis and open surgeries were followed.Results:Ten preoperative diagnosis were made by Ultrasonography, IVU, Retrograde urography, Cystoscopy, one by Ultrasonography, IVU,MRU, another ectopic ureter's side was opposite with preoperative, but achieved a satisfactory result for right operate.Conclusions:Dealing with ectopic opening of ureter, we may study auxiliary examination carefully before operation, do our best to gain a general and accurate diagnosis, avoid inappropriate treatment.
