Abstract
Aim: To study the expression of HGF and its receptor C-Met in the breast cancer tissue and its prognostic value. Methods: The expression of HGF and C-Met in 39 cases of invasive ductal breast carcinoma and 12 cases of breast fibroadenoma was detected using immunohistochemistry. Results: In invasive ductal breast carcinoma tissue, the expression of HGF and C-Met was much higher than those in breast fibroadenoma tissue(P0.05). The expression of HGF and C-Met was positively correlated with histological differentiation and PTNM classification. Conclusion: The overexpression of HGF and C-Met in breast cancer tissue may correlate with the patients' had prognosis.
