On the protection of sports lottery by Criminal Law as seen from "April20 Sports Lottery Case

The authors study the most controversial issues in the April20 Sports Lottery Case on the basis of the Criminal Law.In China,perfect protection in sports lottery by Criminal Law has been established.Sports lottery,considered as production and management in the Criminal Law,should be protected through prompt and effective measures to stop actions harmful to the sports lottery.Connotation of violation in drawing the lottery in public and announcing the winners is defined.Crimes including controlling the lottery drawing in order to occupying the money award of the lottery issuers,abuse of authority and of duty of state personnel leading to other peoples destruction of the lottery issuing are defined.
