An Analysis of Differences in County Economy in Hubei Province and Countermeasures for Coordinated Development

This paper selects 17 indexes,and evaluates the regional economic development level of counties in Hubei province by the factor analysis method.In addition,using clustering analysis to classify the regional disparity into five types: developed areas,moderate developed areas,primary developed areas,backward areas and the most backward areas.Furthermore,it analyzes the spatial characteristics of the regional economy differences.At last,the paper puts forward many strategies: Efficiency comes first,equity at the same time;make use of comparative advantages,and stress on economy of its own characteristics.
