On International Competitiveness of China's Commercial Bank

Abstract

China's commercial banks are exposed to tough international competition as China's financial bank is opening up further. On the basis of clarification of the concept of commercial bank's international competitiveness, the paper determined the main factors concerning commercial bank's international competitiveness and construct the corresponding index system. Then the evaluation of China's commercial bank's international competitiveness is undertaken and measures of financial innovation on how to improve China's commercial bank's international competitiveness are proposed including institution innovation, product innovation, service innovation and technology innovation.
