Abstract

Combining with the structural background of Wenchuan earthquake,the paper has the summery and analysis of earthquake disasters of the main house buildings in strong earthquake's effect,such as the brick-and-concrete structure,frame structure and so on,and points out some suggestions for seismic design in architecture in China,so as to be beneficial for improving and enhancing the buildings' seismic performance in this area.
