Review of researches on soil problems of eucalyptus plantation sites in China

Abstract
China has introduced eucalyptus for more than 100 years, the researches on soil problems of eucalyptus plantation sites less than 60 years. The researches included investigation of the soil background, relationship between soil properties and forest growth, soil fertility decline control, soil management, soil fertility index for quick growing and high yield of eucalyptus, soil nutrients and moisture cycling of the forest system, and so on. These respects of the research is reviewed in this paper.
