The Function of Libu Yunlue(《礼部韵略》)in the Research of Language in the Song Dynasty

The article provides a detailed discovery of the widespread of Libu Yunlue in the History of Linguistics in the Song Dynasty and its functione by refering the historic books of the Song Dynasty,the references handed down from the ancient times,notes,collected works and the other historical data.The study does not only lay solid foundation for the further study on the history of phonetics in Song dynasty,but also provide data for the study of the historic books and events in the Song Dynasty and correct the misunderstanding of the value of Libu Yunlue of previous researches conducted by other scholars.
