Abstract

The study background,core technique,primary function,and practical effect of Advanced Climate Modeling and Environmental Simulation(ACMES) were summarized combining with the introduction of current status on the modeling and simulation techniques of the atmospheric environment and its simulation applications.It was put forward that ACMES is a cost-effective computer simulation system,which provides high-resolution products of the climatological statistics for modeling and simulation customers.
