Abstract
The phytoplankton communities were investigated in Dongliaohe river basin in September 2010 and 6 phylum of phytoplankton were detected. The phytoplankton mainly contains the diatom, green algae and euglena. The paper studies the relationships between the main phytoplankton at all sampling points and six water environmental factors by using the canonical correspondence analysis in Dongliaohe river basin. The results show that the total nitrogen and the dissolved oxygen are the main water environmental factors for distribution of phytoplankton community in Dongliaohe river basin.
