Analysis on Provincial Population Migration Spatial Characteristics and the Migration Space Mode in Xinjiang

This paper with the help of the fifth and the sixth data of national population census,using the migration intensity index and the migration damping coefficient of spatial pattern.Analyzing and summarizing the spatial pattern and characteristics of the inter- provincial migration in Xinjiang.The population of provincial out- migration in Xinxiang has an obvious enclave migration characteristics on the spatial pattern,while the provincial ingoing population of Xinjiang more tend to have the migration characteristics of geopolitical migration and along the main railway.The attraction of population migration between Xinjiang and Gansu or Sichuan provinces is stronger,As a minority area,the mutual attraction phenomenon of population migration between Xinjiang and other ethnic minority areas is not obvious.
