Abstract

After the impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir since June of 2003,The water quality of Three Gorges Reservoir has been focused worldwide.This paper summaried research findings of the water pollution control for the Three Gorges Reservoir and proposed the further research orientations of importance.Finally,the water pollution prevention plan for the Three Gorges Reservoir area and upstream being implemented was reviewed.
