Abstract

Effects of nitrogen sources and rates on the dynamic of chlorophyll, plant height, leaf area index, yield and cost of yield of flue-cured tobacco were studied. Results indicated that whatever the nitrogen source was, content of chlorophyll in tobacco leaf increased as the nitrogen rates increased.Increment of chlorophyll in tobacco with ammonium nitrogen application was better than that of nitrate nitrogen. Though plant height and leaf area index of tobacco could be increased by both nitrate and ammonium nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen application was better than that of nitrate nitrogen.Irrigated and dry land tobacco had the highest yield under ammonium nitrogen application with 180 and 150 kg/hm2 treatment. And cost of dry land tobacco was highest under the 75 kg/hm2 treatment with both of nitrate and ammonium nitrogen. Cost of yield under ammonium nitrogen treatment was more than that of nitrate nitrogen in dry land tobacco by 0.34×104 yuan/hm2.
