Abstract
The connecting link of category of Yun(rhyme) in the Ci-poetry theory in the Qing dynasty is mainly embodied in two aspects. One is a connecting link applied in the critical aspect, the other is a connecting link explained in the theoretical aspect. In the first aspect, the category of Yun actually is not much applied after it gets into Ci-poetry criticism in the middle Song dynasty. It becomes the major aesthetic category to comment on the poet or the poem.In the second aspect the contents are mainly embodied in three aspects: praising it as the Ci-poetry aesthetic root, probing its aesthetic characteristics, inspecting its creation and product. The above-mentioned two aspects comparatively amply show the contents of Yun as the Ci poetry aesthetic category.
