Abstract
Objective: To explain the bile acids and FXR role in hepatic regeneration. Methods: We selected60 male SD rats to establish 30%( A),50%( B),70%( C) rat models of hepatic resection. We gave glucose feeding( group 1) and bile acids( group 2) Feeding n = 10,and divided them into six experimental groups labeled as A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2. We tested liver regeneration rate after feeding glucose and bile acids 24hours,48 hours and 72 hours, and detected the expression of FXR in rat liver by western blotting. We made detailed comparison based on data changes. Results: ①Liver regeneration determination: First, according to the contrast between the two groups,it is clear to see that a rate of liver regeneration in rats at various time points were significantly lower than that in group 2; Second, after the comparison within the group,at each time point the glucose feed rate of liver regeneration A1 B1 C1and A2 B2 C2( Pvalues 0.05). ②FXR expression in liver tissue: First, the comparison between groups is clearly showed that a group of FXR expression at different time points were significantly lower than those in group 2; second, the comparison within the group found that each rat liver FXR protein expression at various time points were A1 B1 C1and A2 B2 C2( Pvalues 0.05). Conclusion: Through the analysis of experimental data, bile acid can influence the process of liver regeneration through the effects on FXR.
