Abstract
The structure of aluminum alloy automobile engine cover was analyzed, and the appropriate die casting technology parameters were chose. The forming process was simulated using Pro CAST software, and the filling and solidification processes were analyzed. The time sequence of the filling and solidification, possible shrinkage defects were predicted.
