Abstract

La doping bentonite sorbent was prepared by immersion method, with acidation bentonite as the carrier.Through the XRD and FTIR,the structure and the mechanism of property modification were discussed,and also the adsorptive capability of the sorbent in removing phosphorus was investigated.The results show that the acidification process make the impurities and aluminum oxide in bentonite washed away,and La doping can lead the introduction of the surface hydroxyl groups into the interlayer or surface of bentonite.Then the composition of La with bentonite is realized and the interlayer structure of bentonite is improved because of the new formed La—O—Si bond.And then,the adsorption performance of the sorbent is increased.
