On the Key Issues in Library Resources Deployment Optimization of Local Universities

For libraries of the local universities,it is an important,practical and valuable issue how the limited financial resources are deployed in an optimized mode for the purchase of books and other resources. This paper presents the authors' analysis on this issue from the following four aspects: 1) ensuring stable annual investment in library resources; 2) keeping balance between conventional paper resources and electronic resources; 3) avoiding repeated resources purchase by enhancing resource integration; and carrying out regular demand survey,publicity and utilization evaluation on library resources.
