Abstract
According to field investigation, specimens and literature,a catalog of Leguminosae in Qinling Mountains was created.Based on this catalog, the floristic characteristics of Leguminosae was analyzed through the floristic geography research method. The results were reported as following.1)The Leguminosae in this flora consists of 8 varieties,5 subspecies,172 species,57 genera,in which there are 44 genera,144 species,5subspecies,6varieties native.2)The geographical elements of the legume flora are comparatively complex. The temperate character is obvious, accounting for 61.4%of the total genera(included of 27 genera)and 49.1% of the total species(including 76species).In the process of analyzing the distribution pattern of China-endemic species,it was found that the legume flora in Qinling Mountains presented some affinities with those in Sichuan-Yunnan region.3)The legume flora has obvious transition properties, mainly reflected in two aspects:the flora from south slope to north slope is transitional from subtropical nature to temperate nature,on the other hand, the flora from the western to the eastern is transitional from Sino-Himalaya(SH)component to Sino-Japan(SJ)component.4)The comparison of leguminous floristic composition between Qinling Mountains and the Loess Plateau,Pamirs of China,Changbai Mountain,Nanling,Hengduan Mountains show that,Qinling Mountains has the higher similarity coefficient whit the Loess Plateau than with others, and the lower similarity coefficient with Pamirs of China.
