Abstract
The most important mode of the traditional Chinese thinking is dialectical thinking, which includes integration thinking and opposite thinking. The present article proposes that doctoral candidates be encouraged to apply this traditional dialectical thinking to integrating the modern Chinese mode of thinking with the western mode so as to improve their creative thinking.
