Abstract
The paper introduced study evolution of ecosystem health and its assessment indicators system in order to offer foundation for management of ecosystem in theory.Ecosystem health is transdisciplinarily.The concept of ecosystem health first derived from the ecosystem itself,then was developed from the point of view of human being.The paper indicated that it is key for study of ecosystem health to establish methods for classification of ecosystem dysfunctions,to devise assessment indicators system and to study the cross linkages between changing environments,human health,economic opportunity,and public policy.
