Abstract
A sequence acquisition method based on FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm which is used in satellite positioning system is discussed in this paper.Comparing to classical acquisition methods,FFT algorithm has some advantages: fewer operations,less acquisition time,simpler hardware cost and more flexibility.Aiming at some PN sequences' period with non integral number power of 2 such as m and Gold sequences,a improved FFT algorithm is given to remove the side lobes' interference which is brought by original FFT algorithm.FFT algorithm of weak signals is given by summing the FFT results of multiple continues PN sequences.
