The clinical analysis of 128 cases of tracheobronchial foreign bodies

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and removal of tracheobronchial foreign bodies and summarize the experiences in treatment of critical patients.Methods The complete clinical data of diagnosis and treatment of 128 cases tracheobronchial foreign bodies in from December 2005 to December 2010 were analysized Retrospectively.Results 124 cases of foreign bodies were removed successfully,of which 119 cases of surgery under topical anesthesia and 5 cases of surgery under general anesthesia.Four cases of foreign body were expectorated self.Conclusion Tracheobronchial foreign body is timely and accurate diagnosed and treated.The delay of pathogenetic condition can be avoided and reduce the incidence of complications and mortality effectively.Rigid bronchoscopy inspection and foreign body surgery under topical anesthesia is effective and reliable surgical method.
