On universal feelings in Chinese poems and English poems

The English poems depicting men's feeling created the images of men pining for wives in the British Renaissance while the Chinese poems depicting women' feeling described the images of women's pining for husbands since the creation of Book of Songs.The men and women described in poems had something in common in their fate: they were deserted and felt lonely,but they did not accept the arrangement of fate.Some of them broke away obstacles and rose against the fate.Through analysis of Chinese and English poems,we can see that there is something in common in the description of the images of lonely men and women.
