Abstract
The process mineralogy of a polymetallic sulfide ore from Huayang of Shaanxi is investigated by analysis and detection of the chemical composition, mineral composition, particle size, structure of the ore using various means. This polymetallic sulfide ore mainly consists of the molybdenite, galena and pyrite. And there is a small amount of wulfenite with fine grain size in lead and molybdenum oxidation belt,by which the quality of molybdenum concentrate is seriously affected. This is a typical easy floating but difficult dressing ore. There are 14 kinds of main gangue minerals in total, including quartz, calcite, potosh feldspar, biotite, celestite, chlorite etc. The ore structure is complicated, mainly as hypidiomorphic xenotopic structure and scattered disseminated structure.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
