Abstract
We used Hypermesh and Pam-Crash software to build a finite element model of the vehicle and simulated the process of vehicle in both frontal crash and 40% offset deformable barrier crash and compared and verified the results of deceleration time history curve of column B between the simulation and ground test. The result of simulation agreed with that of ground test. Also we studied the crashworthiness of body structure based on the original model and proposed some measures which were effective for improved structure design in vehicle offset crash.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
