Abstract

[Objective] The suitable dose of potassium fertilizer was explored to guide the scientific fertilization.[Method] Field trial was conducted investigate the effects of different amounts of potassium fertilizer on yield,profit and nutrient uptake of maize.[Result] The treatment of applying potassium increased the yield by 724-1 464 kg/hm2 and income by 843-1 365 yuan(RMB)/hm2 compared with the treatment without potassium.It also enhanced the uptake of N and P by maize.But the yield-increasing benefit and utilization ratio of the potassium fertilizer decreased with the increase of its amount.The potassium fertilizer effect equation was Y=6 988.257 1+13.401 9X-0.033 4X2(R2 =0.963 5**).When the amount of K_2O was 201 kg/hm2 and the economic and reasonable K_2O was 160 kg/hm2,the yield of maize reached the maximum value of 8 321 kg/hm2,the economic yield reached 8 278 kg/hm2.[Conclusion] On the basis of specific application of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer,potassium fertilizer should be increased appropriately.
