Abstract

In the HCl medium of pH=1.0,rare earth forms colured complex with CPA-MA,and the molar absorptivity of the complex of dual-wavelength spectrophotometric determination is 1.3×10 5L·mol -1 ·cm -1 which is higher than the result of single-wavelength spectrophotometry.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0 to 20μg/25mL.This method is used directly for the determination of the trace rare earth in nodular cast ion, which has high sentivity, better selectivity and accuracy. The results are very satisfactory.
