Abstract

The control effects of the three organophosphorus insecticides( dichlorvos, chlorpyrifos and phoxim)against L. serricorne were tested by the method of membrane filter contacting, fumigant in sealed flask and little spray. Results showed that of the three insecticides, the dichlorvos had the best effects in contacting, stifling and comprehensive controlling. After 2 days the corrected mortality of adult pest treated with dichlorvos for contact reached 86.9%, and the corrected mortality of larva was 85.7% after 6 days. The eclosion rate of adult was only0.4%, with 96.2% inhibition rate against larval growing. In the experiment, the chlorpyrifos had a better performance than phoxim in stifling and comprehensive controlling, but had less efficiency in contacting than latter. Further more, there was a better control efficiency of chlorpyrifos on adult pest than on larval.
