Abstract
This paper based on the location station studies of the climate features, forest vegetation types and soil types in the Northern slope of Qilian Mountains, and analysis of the vertical distribution of the main climatic elements in the Northern slope of Qilian Mountains. Also used climatic indicators and biological theory, and according to the different altitude divides the mountains into five vertical climatic zones. They are: 1. mountain desert grassland climatic zones; 2. mountain grassland climatic zones; 3. mountain forestry grassland climatic zones; 4. sub alpine shrub meadow climatic zones; 5. alpine subsnow ice rare vegetation climatic zones. The aim of the thesis offeres scientific basis for research for mountainy climate in Qilian Mountains and development of local economy.
