Abstract

Based on architectural acoustics and the acoustic feafure of city traffic noise,the importance and means of establishing over head highway noise barrier are clarified from three aspects:noise source control,transmission and protection for victims.Illustrations are presented for calculation,design requirement and matters to be aware of.
