Abstract

A totem is the symbol of a nation. For thousands years, the Totem of Dragons has always beenthe united and striving flag of the Chinese nation, and it is the embodiment of the powerful action in China.With the changing times, however, the Chinese people are giving the new comprehension to the Totem of Drag-on. In accordance with the definitions and origins of the totem as well as the Totem of Dragon, this paper triesto make the exposition about the Totem of Dragon of the Chinese nation, and then propose the understanding onthe culture of the dragon.
