On the Character of Variant Pronunciation in the Chinese Language

Variant Pronunciation is a special phenomenon of the Chinese language in terms of pronunciation,though it brings much trouble to the language learners.Through the discussing of the identification of Variant Pronunciation,its causes,standardization,etc,this paper aims at presenting a clear explanation of the problems mentioned above,and helping the language learners catch an explicit understanding of Variant Pronunciation.
