Bai Ju-yi's conception of Shi Xu

Bai Ju-yi's new conservatory imitates Mao Shi's system which set the the general preface and individule prefaces.But,the differences in individule between them are always neglected.Mao Shi's Xiao Xu are basically made up of several sentences,however,every individule preface to the new conservatory has only sentence.The author of this paper believes that one sentence prefaces reflect Bai Ju-yi's conception of Shi Xu: Shi Xu has two parts which are called the first sentence and continued words;he paid especial attention to the first sentence and put the continued words in a relatively lower position.This point is important because it not only inriches the Tang Dynasty's thoughts of Shi Jing,but also adds a new coordinate to the historical chain about the discussion of Shi Xu.
