Abstract

Banfu No.2 Bridge is located at Banfu Town,Zhongshan City,which is an extra-large bridge across the Qijiang River.The main bridge(77 m+102 m) is a prestressed concrete cable stayed bridge with two independent irregular-shaped pylon tower and the bridge approach is prestressed simply-supported hollow slab bridge.This paper is focused on the general design ideas of the bridge,including technical standards,natural conditions,overall arrangement of the bridge,structural design and construction sequences.
