The Future of East Asian Economic Integration: "Unite Vertically" or "Unite Horizontally"

The East Asian economic integration that guided by pragmatism encountered tumbles,the complicated interest game seems to make the East Asian economic integration poles apart.Based on the consideration of this reality,none of the current research and practice have considered the openness of the East Asian economic integration,only pay close attention to the regional force,and not consider the driving force from the outside,especially from the USA..This paper analyses the relation between the USA and East Asia,then constructs and analyzes the East Asian economic integration index system which includes trade and currency,and finds the East Asian economic cooperation goes slowly related to the disordered choice of integration tactic.At last,the author gives the follow tactic:The East Asian should choose and keep the openness of the regional integration,especially for USA,and drive the integration with the participation of the USA.
