Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical efficacy, safety and effects on platelet activation of clopidogrel combined with aspirin and atorvastatin calcium in patients with coronary artery stent operation. Methods Fifty-six patients underwent coronary artery stenting, they were randomly divided into combined treatment group and control group according to the medication taken(n=28).Both groups were long-term users of aspirin, atorvastatin calcium, and the combined theatment group was additionally treated with clopidogrel for 12 months.Curative effects and platelet activation were observed. Results Total efficiency of the combined treatment group after treated 12 months and 36months(100%,96.15%)were significantly higher than that of the control group(82.14%,71.42%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05,P0.01).Platelet activation markers[CD63(4.20%±2.20%)、 CD62P(7.02%±2.41%)]of combined treatment group after treatment was lower than that [CD63(1.60%±1.42%)、CD62P(4.60%± 1.70%)]of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The adverse events such as hemorrhage, gastrointestinal ulcers and cancer were not detected in two groups. Conclusions On the basis of aspirin and atorvastatin calcium therapy, plus clopidogrel may improve the efficacy of coronary stenting.
