Abstract

Objective The first objective is to reasonably apply fresh frozen plasma(FFP) and save the blood source. The second one is to reduce abnormal transfusion reaction. The third one is to decrease occurrence of diseases which could be spread by transfusion at the utmost. Methods We made a statistical analysis of component blood transfusion data and rationalities of FFP transfusion, and then drew a comparison between the analysis results and government's forced standards of component blood transfusion for class 3 grade 1 hospital as well as component blood transfusion information in developed countries. At last we found the problem of component blood transfusion in our hospital at the present. Results The use ratio of FFP transfusion was 28.69 %,and this ratio was more superior to that of developed countries, the unreasonable use ratio was 88.83%.Conclusions We must strengthen management of FFP transfusion through reducing the use ratio of FFP and preventing unreasonable use of it.
