Remote Monitor System Based on GPRS

The combination of telecommunication and monitoring technologies can transfer user's monitoring data to the destination without regard to the real distance limitation.In the second generation of telecommunication net,the GPRS technology not only enhances bandwidth but also reduces communication cost,thus facilitates the research and application of remote wireless monitoring.This paper presents examples of general monitoring platform in this method and makes some research on the connection between data monitoring module and GPRS module,as well as the difficulties and security issues of data transmission and its real application schemes.
