Brief Report on the Excavation of Tomb of Eastern Jin Dynasty in Dangtu,Anhui Province——And on Patterns and Sources of Uncovered BrokenGlass Bowl

The most unexpected discoveries in the excavation of Eastern Jin Tomb,Dangtu were four pieces of broken glass bowl apart from the common celadons common at that time. After qualitative analysis,their elements were similar with the bowl unearthed in Western Jin Dynasty tomb but different from home-made glass’. We were sure they both were exotic Sasan dynasty’s glasses.The finding provides material information for the research of trade between southern China and western countries during Six Dynasties.
