Abstract

Objective To assess the clinical effects of selective bronchial artery embolization in the treatment of hemoptysis. Methods The Seldinger’s technique was used in 46 cases with acute hemoptysis underwent Selective bronchial artery embolization with geltine foam particles were introduced through catheter Result embolization was carried out in 46 patients.. Total hemoptysis control rate was 100%. Conclusions Selective bronchial artery embolization is a safe and efficient method for treatment hemoptysis.
