Overview of Bridge Landscape in "Capital of Bridge"

Being worthy of the name of capital of bridge,Chongqing is second to none in number,type and construction technology of bridges in China.In recent years the construction technology is enhanced rapidly under continuous endeavor of bridge constructors,a large quantity of excellent urban bridges spring up and bridge landscape changes with each passing day and becomes series of good-looking sceneries in Mountain City(Chongqing).However,people have no enough recognition for bridge landscape,part of bridge landscape still stops over decoration after completion of bridge and the landscape is regarded as package in late period of bridge.By analyzing the landscape of a few representative cross-river bridges in Chongqing,this paper expatiates composition of bridge landscape,main points of design and technique of expression from aspects such as environment in which bridge is located,choice of bridge types,structure features,color,night view effect and influence on urban scenery,etc and analyzes and summarizes future development direction of bridge landscape with a view to provide reference for construction of bridge landscape in the future
