Abstract
【Objective】The study screened the molecular marker linked to the cucumber scab resistant gene, and discussed the molecular method for identification and selection of resistant materials.【Method】With a F2 population between a resistant and a susceptible parent(Q6×Q12),the linked marker was screened by BSA method and AFLP technology.【Result】An AFLP primer pair,E20M64,was polymorphic between the resistant and susceptible bulk at 130bp.The resistant F2 plants possessed the band of 130bp,and no fragment was amplified from the susceptible F2 plants. The AFLP marker was tightly linked to the cucumber scab resistance gene, and the genetic distance was 4.83cM.Sequencing of the fragment indicated that the length was 125bp.The AFLP marker was converted into SCAR marker.【Conclusion】 The study provided a molecular method to identify cucumber scab resistance, and can be used in molecular marker assisted selection.
