Abstract
Objective To discuss the prevention of inhalation pneumonia in senile dementia patients with nasal feeding combining routine nursing with the stomach power medicine. Methods 40 cases of senile dementia patients with nasal feeding were randomly divided into control group of 20 cases and intervention group of 20 cases.Patients in the control group were given routine nasal feeding nursing method, while patients in the intervention group were treated with the combination of routine nursing and stomach power medicine. The incidence of inhalation pneumonia in the two groups was recorded. Results The incidence of inhalation pneumonia in intervention group was lower than that of the control group obviously(P0.01).Conclusion Nursing intervention combination with stomach power medicine can prevent the inhalation pneumonia effectively, thus reduce patients' pain and improve the quality of life.
