Research on Panzhihua ilmenite flotation by using TAO collector series

Abstract

New ilmenite collectors TAO(TAO-1,TAO-2,TAO-3) have been synthesized.And the collection behavior of TAO on ilmenite is studied by experiments of single mineral and mixed one.The single mineral flotation tests show that TAO have good recovery in fine ilmenite,and selectivity of TAO-3 is the best.The mixed mineral flotation tests show that good result can be obtained when using TAO-3 as ilmenite collector and without using depressor.
