Abstract
The characteristics of salt deposition was tested under drip irrigation beneath plastic film in arid area. The results showed that the soil average salt content increased in column of 0-90 cm.Simultaneously, the soil average salt content in column of 0-40 cm represented the characteristics of directional removing. The range of salt deposition mainly distributed in the brink of wettish area. After growth cycle of crop irrigation, the cumulative amount of soil salt was 2 times than original value. Therefore, the conclusions had the practice effect that annual winter irrigation could not be necessary. The farmer could make decision about whether winter irrigation need on the base of the soil salt content.Consequently, the goal of decreasing amount of agricultural water could be implemented.
