Abstract
Error compensation technology of numerical controlled machine tool is an effective way in improving the processing precision of numerical controlled machine tool. It includes error detection, error model and error compensation. To a great extent, the compensation effect depends on the precision of the overall error mathematics model while error element model is the base of overall mathematics model. Therefore, the chief task of error compensation is to conduct a precise detection to the numerical controlled machine tool. This paper illustrates the geometric error detection and distinguishing methods using laser interferometer, and establishes the geometric error element model of laser interferometer- based numerical controlled machine tool.
