Poetry style between the Tang and Song Dynasties

Bai Juyi is an important person who affected the poetry between the Tang and Song Dynasties.From Tang Dynasty to Song Dynasty,literati learned from Bai Juyi and experienced a shift from allegorical to leisure and to allegorical finally.Affected by the chaos caused by wars,the literati between Tang and Five Dynasty studied the allegorical spirit of Bai Juyi.In the middle of Five Dynasty,leisure poetic style became the mainstream,and lasted until the early Northern Song Dynasty.Wang Yucheng consciously learned from Bai Juyi and Du Fu,reveal the development prelude of the Song poetry.
