Abstract

The method of estimating forest biomass used of forest stock was proposed in this paper, and biological production all over Xuzhou region was estimated by using this method. As a result,Total biomass of forest vegetation in Xuzhou region was 1 397.81×104 t,of which 1 209.07×104 t for Populus sp.plantation,52.39×104 t for Platycladus orientalis forest,34.04×104 t for Ginkgo biloba forest,46.62×104 t for broadleaf mixed forest,44.51×104 t for economic scrub forest and 11.18×104 t for shrub forest, and its features was analyzed.
